Apple Professional Learning Specialists work side by side with leaders, educators and IT to develop personalised professional learning plans that inspire, coach and lead faculty to build confidence, and help them advance towards innovative learning approaches and improved student outcomes.
As fellow educators, Apple Professional Learning Specialists apply research-based practices to help faculty and leaders to create learning environments that address the needs of all learners through innovative approaches to pedagogy, curriculum and assessment. They help educators to acquire strong product foundations in an educational context, explore the integration of technology into learning and aspire to innovate their instructional practice.
For educators
Apple Professional Learning Specialists support educators in range of areas, from developing basic skills through to fostering instructional innovation. They work side by side with educators through coaching cycles and build capacity through local support teams.
For leaders
Education leaders can work with Apple Professional Learning Specialists to build leadership capacity through executive coaching, strategic planning and innovative uses of technology.

Apple Professional Learning Specialists help IT teams to connect technology implementations to effective teaching and learning.
Apple Education Community
The Apple Education Community is an online, professional learning hub designed for educators using Apple technology to create engaging student learning experiences. The community features two main spaces: the Learning Center, and the Forum, a secure, collaborative space for educators to connect and learn from one another.
The Learning Center offers skill-building tutorials, lesson ideas and inspiration from Apple. With resources available in 17 languages, educators can build strong foundational skills for using iPad and Mac, and deepen student learning using Pages, Keynote, Numbers, GarageBand and iMovie.
As educators learn, they can gain recognition through the Apple Teacher Programme and access even more learning resources.
The Forum gives educators the opportunity to connect peer-to-peer and to receive coaching and mentoring from Apple experts. Educators can ask questions, discuss relevant topics, and share stories and resources that impact learning and more.
Membership to the Community is free and available in 37 countries/regions, with learning materials available in 17 languages.
Apple Teacher
Apple Teacher is a free professional learning programme designed to support and celebrate educators using Apple products for teaching and learning. This self-paced journey starts with foundational skills on iPad and Mac, and continues with lessons and strategies to integrate Apple technology into everyday lessons. With three recognitions to explore, teachers can discover new ways to offer students more connected, creative, collaborative and personal learning experiences.
