Technical Support
When an institution chooses AppleCare+ for Schools, everyone in their learning community – from students and families to teachers and IT – gets priority access to technical support from Apple experts. So whether a teacher has a question about iMovie for an upcoming lesson or a student needs help connecting their iPad to a printer, AppleCare+ for Schools gives them the support they need – saving IT time and resources.
Hardware Protection
When it comes to technology in the classroom, accidents are bound to happen. That’s why AppleCare+ for Schools provides hardware protection to keep devices in the hands of students and teachers. With AppleCare+ for Schools, institutions have coverage for two incidents of accidental damage per year per device.¹ And this isn’t limited to just the device itself. With AppleCare+ for Schools, hardware coverage also includes accessories, diminished battery life,² and for Mac, damage to Apple memory (RAM) and Apple USB SuperDrive. And with multi-year protection, institutions can get two, three or four years of hardware coverage depending on their specific needs and budget cycle. This gives leaders peace of mind when deploying Apple devices at scale.
Service Options
AppleCare+ for Schools includes quick and easy service options that help to minimise unnecessary classroom disruptions. With AppleCare+ for Schools, institutions have access to Express Replacement Service to avoid waiting for a repair. Institutions also have the option to mail in devices with prepaid shipping boxes – or, if they’re located near an Apple Authorised Service Provider, they can bring devices into the store.
