This hands-on session allows teachers to explore how students use their iPad to support digital storytelling initiatives. Participants will discover project ideas that integrate curriculum, build digital literacy, and promote inclusive classroom practices. This session includes tips and tricks to support teachers who are new to using iPad and provide ideas for teachers who are ready to implement new and creative classroom projects.

Learn how to use Accessibility features available on iPad to meet a variety of learning needs in your classroom. From Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, Guided Access to keep the student on a single app, removing distractions on websites and much more! Participants will learn about these features and have time to try them in this session.

Using GarageBand to Promote Descriptive Writing
Uncover the potential of GarageBand as a classroom tool for audio creation. Whether you’re new to the app or looking for ways to integrate it into your teaching, this session will cover the basics of recording, editing, and exporting audio content. Learn how students can use GarageBand to create podcasts, soundtracks, or audio reflections that support learning and descriptive writing across all subjects.
