Ron is joining our team as our newest Account Executive!
Ron has worked for large corporations such as CIBC, IBM Global Services, EDS Systemhouse, and Compaq/HP. He has been employed as a consultant for a variety of Saskatchewan companies such as SaskPower, SaskTel, Bayer Crop Science, Farm Credit Canada (FCC), ISC, and Social Services. Ron’s IT background includes working as an IT Manager, Project Manager, Desktop Architect, Network Analyst, and Server Lead.
Recent work: More recently, Ron has been working at SaskTel as a business operations consult in their Identity Management and Cloud services team. He has completed numerous Office 365 conversions and trained the office staff on all the benefits of Office 365, Teams, One Drive, Azure, and SharePoint.
Accomplishments: Working as a project manager at ISM Canada, he successfully completed a project that upgraded the Prince Albert Parkland Hospital to a new Cisco VOIP and wireless phone solution. He later went back to the City of Prince Albert and completed a 3CX VOIP install with Lexcom Systems Group. Ron and his network team completed a wireless, MPLS and Cisco phone and 38–site network rollout at the Prairie Valley Division.
Education: Ron currently holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Regina (1993). He is also a Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) and is ITIL and Office 365 certified.
Hobbies/Interests: Ron has been married for 27 years and has three children: Brandon 24, Jenna 21, and Kyle 19. He enjoys coaching soccer, hockey, and football with his children on evenings and weekends.
Fun fact: Ron has become an avid Rider fan in the last 15 years, as his wife Tina is the Financial Director for the Saskatchewan Roughriders football club.
